Total Modern Warfare preorders pass 3.1 million in the Americas just before release as New Super Mario Bros Wii leads the chasing pack
Total Modern Warfare 2 preorders hit an astonishing 3.15 million copies as of November 8th (including PC version). We are still currently waiting on day one sales but they should be around 3-3.5 million in the Americas alone based on the preorder figures and 4-4.5 million for the week. In other preorder news, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Assassins Creed 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 looks like all having very strong releases just over a week - Mario clearly leading the way but along with Modern Warfare week twos we should have six different games that week selling over 250,000 units - a huge week!
