On an interview with Playstation Europe, the director of the Tekken team Katsuhiro Harada gave us very good news about his plans for future DLC.

Question: What plans do you have for additional download content from PlayStation Store?
Answer: There is a strong possibility we will. However, even if we were to do so, it would be free to the end user.

In a time were companies are putting outrageous prices in DLCs, this is a great thing. It's also known they are developing a free online co-op mode and patches to fix the netcode (something many costumers have complained about) to reduce the lag in online battles.

This year is being regarded as the "year of the fighting games", with many known franchises getting new titles, such as Street Fighter IV, Blazblue (a spiritual sucessor to Guilty Gear) and The King of Fighters XII. Every gaming company needs to do their best to keep their fans and properly deal with the competition.
